The programme will also include more songs and the artist's latest compositions from his newest album. Gypsy folk favourites will be performed with violin, accordion and guitar, played by Don Vasyl's grandchildren:
The Don Vasyl i Roma Artistic Ensemble was founded in 1987. The name “Roma” comes from the fact that the core of the group consists of members of the Roma group, which toured extensively around the world, including concerts at the UN headquarters in New York and at the “Olympia” in Paris. Over time, Don Vasyl discovered and promoted Gypsy stars: Dziani, Wasyl Junior, Elza, Patrycja, Carmen, Tobi and many others. The name was then changed to Don Vasyl and Gypsy Stars, and the ensemble continues to cultivate the artistic traditions of Roma.
Practical information: the concert lasts 90 minutes.
