An equestrian centre in Wrzeszczyn near Jelenia Góra with horse riding lessons, quad bikes, bicycles and accommodation for guests.
Appaloosa Equestrian Centre operates in Wrzeszczyn near Jelenia Góra, at the address Wrzeszczyn 5. It is a stud farm offering horse riding for guests and several additional outdoor activities.
The centre offers horse riding lessons for beginners and advanced riders, using an open manège and an indoor training hall. Besides horse riding, guests can use quad bikes, bicycles and water sports equipment - an offer going beyond riding lessons alone, rare among the stables in the area.
On site there are two apartments with kitchenettes and bathrooms, for 16 people in total, so a stay can be stretched over several days with horse riding and other activities every day.
The Appaloosa is a horse breed developed in North America by the Nez Perce people, named after the Palouse river in the state of Oregon. It is recognised by its spotted coat with large, irregular patches, most often on the hindquarters and flanks, as well as a light-coloured sclera and striped hooves. It is not known, however, whether the horses at this particular centre belong to this breed, or whether the name refers only to the stud farm's own name.
