The workshop “3D Printing in Practice - Designing a Functional Phone Stand” will take place on 12.11.2026 at 5:00 PM at the MultiCentrum of Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna im. T. Różewicza in Wrocław. Participants will learn the basics of 3D printing technology and the stages of creating three-dimensional models.
During the session, you will learn how a 3D printer works, what materials it uses, and how an idea becomes a finished object. The main task is to design your own phone stand. Participants will learn the basics of 3D modeling, how to choose dimensions and shapes, and how to adapt a design to its function.
Practical information: the workshop is for adults only (18+). Organizers ask that you arrive on time, as latecomers will not be able to catch up on the material. Finished designs can be collected on a date arranged individually with the educator. The concessionary ticket is available only to holders of an active personal library card from Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna im. Tadeusza Różewicza in Wrocław, which you must bring with you.
