“Madhouse” is a comedy continuing the story of Nadia, known from “Boeing Boeing” and “Domestic Help”. The heroine decides to start over, so she takes a new name, Narcyza, and gets a new job. She hopes that this time she has landed in a normal household. Weronika and Krzysztof live there: she is a psychiatrist, he is a psychologist.
Nobody in the apartment tells the truth, everyone is hiding something, and doors open and close at a rapid pace. A lover bumps into the husband, the husband hides the lover, a patient stops being a patient, and Narcyza tries not to go mad. Things are complicated by the fact that she and Krzysztof have a stormy past. From then on, mistakes multiply: some pretend to be ill, others pretend to be healthy, someone hears voices, someone sees delusions. The whole thing is a comedy built on dialogue, plot twists and absurdities that spin out of control.
