A Recipe for Christmas

A Recipe for Christmas is a story set just before Christmas. The cast includes:

• Zofia Jastrzębska as Ida,
• Piotr Stramowski as Piotr,
• Sonia Mietielica as Klara.

Ida bakes out of passion and dreams of owning her own confectionery. At the bank she meets Piotr, a director whose sense of humor and uncompromising nature fascinate her. Piotr also meets someone else: only now does he learn that he has a 10-year-old son, Nikodem.

The boy's arrival is a big challenge for Piotr, who is focused on his career, and for his moody partner Klara. Both need help with household chores, and Ida answers their ad. In this unexpected puzzle, feelings play an important role, and true love proves to be the greatest gift.
