Cała Góra Barwinków (CGB) is a ska and reggae band. They are touring to promote their latest album, “Fenomen,” released in March 2026, and are returning to clubs. The concert will feature their mix of ska, reggae, funk, rock and pop, with both older and newer songs, including “24 Hours” and “Losing Time.” The band's music is built on catchy melodies and combines ska, reggae and rocksteady. The band has been active since 1998. They have six full-length albums to their name, starting with their debut, followed by: - “24 Hours” - “I Love Trouble” (2010) - “Beat 2 Meet U” (2013) - “Ways” (2018) - “Fenomen” (2026) In 2021, the EP “Pop goes ska,” featuring reworked 80s pop hits in the band's arrangements, was released on streaming services and on limited vinyl. Their debut received good reviews in the music press (“Teraz Rock,” “FreeColours,” “Reggaebeat”), in “Gazeta Wyborcza” and online. “24 Hours” placed fourth in the “Free Colours” poll for best album of the year. Its title track was third in the “Song of the Year” category and reached first place on the Radio Bis chart. The second single, “Losing Time,” got frequent airplay on Radio Trójka. In 2004, Jurek Owsiak invited the band to the Dwójka studio, where they performed during the 12th Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity Final. CGB also appeared on “Kuba Wojewódzki,” “Poplista,” “Kawa czy Herbata” and “Regiony kultury.” On the show “Taper,” the band provided music for Charlie Chaplin's silent film “Charlie ucieka.” In 2014, they took part in the 4th season of “X Factor” on TVN and were eliminated two episodes before the final. The band has performed at nearly all the major festivals, including twice at Przystanek Woodstock (2003 and 2013) and at Heineken Opener Festival 2007 in Gdynia.
