Design Your Own Cookie Cutter: Two-Part Workshop (November 17 and 24)

The Miejska Biblioteka Publiczna im. T. Różewicza we Wrocławiu (MultiCentrum) will host a two-part workshop on designing your own cookie cutter. Both sessions are scheduled for 5:00 p.m., on November 17 and 24. Session one (Nov. 17): Participants learn the basics of designing simple vector graphics in a special graphics program and create their own cookie cutter designs. Shapes can be built from circles, squares and polygons, or drawn with a special pen. Cutters can be up to 7×7 cm, and the shape is designed by its outline only, with no elements inside. Session two (Nov. 24): Designs are refined and transferred to a simple 3D printing modeling program, where they receive their final shape and are prepared for printing. The finished, printed cutter can be collected at a time arranged individually with the instructor. Prints will be ready within two weeks of the second session. Practical information: The workshop is for adults only. Organizers ask that you arrive on time, as catching up on material from the start of the session may be difficult if you are late.
