Don Vasyl and Band – 55th Anniversary

On 22 November 2026 at 6:00 PM, the Jaworski Ośrodek Kultury in Jawor will host the jubilee concert “From Czardas to Hit” as part of the celebrations of Don Vasyl's 55th anniversary. He will perform with his Family Ensemble, and dancers in sequined and lace Romani dresses will also take the stage. The organizers describe the concert as nostalgic. The program will feature the singer's biggest hits, including: - “Jedno jest niebo dla wszystkich” - “Tańcz ze mną moje życie” - “Ja już wygrałem” Gypsy banquet songs will also be performed, accompanied by violin, accordion, and guitar. Don Vasyl's grandchildren will play them. The list includes: - “Ore, Ore” - “Zagraj mi piękny cyganie” - “My cyganie” - “Znałem cyganeczkę Zosię” The artist will also present new compositions from his latest album. The Don Vasyl i Roma Artistic Ensemble was formed in 1987. The name “Roma” comes from the fact that the core of the ensemble consists of members of the group Roma, which toured extensively around the world, including concerts at the UN headquarters in New York and at the Olympia in Paris. Don Vasyl discovered and promoted Romani stars Dziana, Wasyl Junior, Elza, Patrycja, Carmen, Tobi, and many others, after which the ensemble was renamed Don Vasyl and the Gypsy Stars. The ensemble continues to uphold Roma artistic traditions. Practical information: the concert lasts 90 minutes.
