The festival's closing concert will combine contemporary jazz with Brazilian music, whose rhythm, melodiousness and distinctive expressiveness have inspired artists around the world for decades. Dorota Miśkiewicz will perform with her project “Bons Amigos”.
The project was created in Rio de Janeiro in collaboration with outstanding Brazilian musicians, including the legendary guitarist Toninho Horta. The programme features compositions that blend jazz sensibility with the subtlety of bossa nova, the energy of samba and the melodiousness typical of Brazilian music.
The concert will showcase jazz as an artistic language open to dialogue between cultures, traditions and generations of musicians.
