The AccoCello duo consists of Anna and Oleg Dyyak, a cellist and an accordionist who are also father and daughter. They will perform in the concert “For Accordion and Cello” from the Światowid klasycznie series.
Oleg Dyyak has received several honours, including the “Zasłużony dla Kultury Polskiej” award (Merited to Polish Culture). He is a co-founder of The Cracow Klezmer Band, with which he recorded albums for New York label Tzadik, run by John Zorn. His output includes numerous concerts and recordings around the world. Anna Dyyak is a student at the Katowice Academy of Music (AM) and a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (MKiDN) for 2024/25. She has won numerous competition prizes.
