Greenland - In the Land of Icebergs and the Midnight Sun

The presentation “Greenland - In the Land of Icebergs and the Midnight Sun” will take place at Klub Wędrówki in Wrocław on November 8, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The speaker will talk about the world's largest island and show the Arctic from land, ocean, and air.

Program highlights:

• Ilulissat and Icefjord (UNESCO), where icebergs reach up to 300 meters, and a cruise in the “midnight sun” light,
• the calving Eqi Glacier, where you stand before a 200-meter ice wall and listen to the roar of breaking ice,
• daily life, from the capital Nuuk to the small settlement of Oqaatsut, where time moves more slowly,
• whales in Disko Bay,
• trekking across the tundra,
• reasons why a trip to Greenland is more of an expedition than an ordinary tour.
