From Chór Czejanda to Męskie Granie

On November 10, the concert “HISTORY OF POLISH ROCK - From Chór Czejanda to Męskie Granie” will take place at Stary Klasztor, ahead of the Independence Day holiday. The musicians will perform well-known songs by the most important artists in the history of Polish rock, singing along with the audience.

The concert will be led by WrocLove Band under the direction of Marek “Sting” Popow, familiar to Stary Klasztor audiences. The program moves from the beginnings of Polish rock to contemporary songs:

• Czesław Niemen, Czerwone Gitary, Skaldowie
• Dżem, Budka Suflera, Perfect
• Lombard, Republika, Kult
• Maanam, Hey, Myslovitz
• Lech Janerka, Pidżama Porno, Staszek Soyka
• contemporary works: Happysad, Mrozu, Orkiestra Męskiego Grania

The evening is meant to be a time of musical memories and shared singing of cross-generational Polish hits. The history of Polish rock is a significant part of contemporary Polish history.
