“How to Live Without Going Crazy” is a Polish film from 2026 directed by Tomasz Konecki and Iwona Ogonowska-Konecka. The main character is Anka.
On the surface, Anka has a great life: a loving husband, successful kids, a good job and a great apartment downtown. But everything starts to fall apart. Her husband cheats, she loses her job, the kids are moody, and a bailiff is taking an interest in her apartment. The heroine faces a simple choice: she can lie down and die of despair, or start living on her own terms, according to her whims and “at full blast”.
According to the description, an attractive “pre-owned” single woman has a great future ahead of her. But she has to pull herself together, shake off her overprotective mother, get along with her kids and find a new idea for herself, and Anka has no shortage of ideas. The recipe for the new Anka: a handful of courage, plenty of self-confidence, a pinch of independence and an ocean of humor.
