Jarosław Góral's Monodrama

The Zgorzelec Municipal Culture House will present Jarosław Góral's monodrama as part of the Zgorzelec Theatre Meetings. The performance is based on a text by Barbara Borzymowska, a writer, poet, and animal psychologist.

Despite its provocative title, the story is not about people but about animals, our “lesser brothers.” They are loved, but only up to a point, and then abandoned without explanation. The text is simple, free of pathos and unnecessary embellishment. It is also difficult, full of emotion, and wise, and at times full of plain, ordinary mercy.
