Lalka (2D PL)

Warsaw, late 19th century. Stanisław Wokulski (Marcin Dorociński) is consumed by an all-consuming love for Izabela Łęcka (Kamila Urzędowska). Having made a fortune during the war, he returns home and resolves to enter high society to win the hand of his beloved. She is dazzling and aloof, but despite her aristocratic origins, she faces the specter of financial ruin. Beside Wokulski stands his loyal friend Ignacy Rzecki (Marek Kondrat), a romantic who watches with nostalgia as the world of ideals gives way to social ambition and ruthless business dealings. Wokulski enters a labyrinth of aristocratic salons, where every gesture may be the start of a scheme and every word a harbinger of betrayal. Rivals, unexpected alliances, and dramatic choices will test his dreams and his faith in people. This is a story of infatuation that changes the characters' fates and blurs the line between heart and reason. Safe shopping at Bilety24.
