Magical Concert of Non-Serious Music | St. Andrew's Eve Concert

“Magical Concert of Non-Serious Music” blends classical and light music, with humor and surprising twists throughout the program. POZNAŃ BRASS, a brass quintet formed by musicians of the Poznań Philharmonic, will perform. The musicians play with musical conventions and bring in elements of comedy, parody, and audience-involved improvisation. During the event, a 10-minute conducting competition with prizes will take place, and volunteers from the audience can sign up. The program includes: - classical pieces in unexpected arrangements: Bach, Vivaldi, Albinoni, Mozart, Beethoven, - modern pieces by THE BEATLES, QUEEN, and ABBA, - original compositions by Andrzej Witold Majewski, a Polish composer who won four international classical music competitions this year, including in Vienna and Los Angeles. Practical information: the concert lasts approx. 90 minutes.
