“Masters of the Piano – From Bach to Rachmaninoff” is a concert that takes you through 300 years of music, from the mathematical precision of the Baroque, through Romantic exuberance, to the cinematic expressiveness of the 20th century. The guide for this journey is the concert grand piano, with its 88 keys. The source does not give the pianist’s name.
The programme features composers and their associated themes:
The organisers stress that this is not meant to be “another classical music concert,” but an evening for those seeking authenticity amid everyday rush.
The project’s creator is Krzysztof Knapczyk, an actor and vocalist (tenor) associated with the Musical Theatre in Łódź. He is a member of “Queen Symfonicznie” and “The Beatles Symfonicznie” and of the group “A Tribute to Il Divo. The 3 Tenors”, which performs in Greece. He has also sung in Germany, where he studied at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart, and in the United States. After performing on European stages, he returned to Poland and began his own concert tour. His motto is: “Music begins where words exhaust their power.”
The concert is meant to be a time for reflection and joy in experiencing music.
