“Our Revolution”

“Our Revolution” is a Polish film from 2026 directed by Piotr Domalewski. It follows Jacek and Grażyna Kuroń, a couple convinced that together they can change the world. He is lively, loud and charismatic, while she is brave, gentle and full of warmth. They share a boundless love. The Kuroń couple give up their privacy to devote their lives to the fight for freedom. Their apartment becomes the opposition’s “headquarters,” a meeting place for people willing to risk everything for a better tomorrow. But this idea has its price: moments of intense intimacy alternate with years of separation, when the spouses are divided by prison bars. The outbreak of martial law forces them to make decisions no one would want to face. The film asks whether love can triumph in such difficult times.
