Our Revolution

“Our Revolution” tells the story of Jacek and Grażyna Kuroń. He is lively, loud and charismatic; she is brave, gentle and full of warmth. They are bound by boundless love and the conviction that together they can change the world.

Both give up their privacy to devote their lives to the fight for freedom. Their apartment becomes the opposition's “headquarters,” a meeting place for people ready to risk everything for a better tomorrow.

A great idea, however, comes at a price. Moments of intense closeness alternate with years of separation, when the spouses are divided by prison bars. The declaration of martial law forces them to make decisions no one would want to make. The question this story seeks to answer is: can love triumph in such difficult times?
