The event brings together two bands on one stage:
Plattenbau is a Berlin collective of four individualists moving between noise rock, new wave, krautrock and techno. The members share a fascination with punk, art cinema and occultism. They turn the unease of modern times into hypnotic, precisely constructed sonic forms. Mechanical drums meet pulsing bass, synthesizers and guitars, creating an effect reminiscent of a soundtrack to a forgotten German horror film from the early '90s. The music is experimental yet surprisingly catchy, with strong choruses and clear melodies.
Psychoformalina has been active since the '90s and represents Wrocław's cold wave and post-punk scene. It combines the chill of cold wave with the rawness of garage rock, along with elements of noise and neo-psychedelia. The band has developed a dense sound built on trance-like rhythms, dirty guitars and urban poetry steeped in darkness. Their latest album is “Chimera” from 2023, released by Bat-Cave Productions: heavy, hypnotic and uncompromising material. Raw power and gloom.
