A Recipe for Christmas

“A Recipe for Christmas” is a film screened at Centrum Kultury MUZA in Lubin (Duża sala) on 6 November 2026 at 3:00 PM. The lead roles are played by Zofia Jastrzębska as Ida, Piotr Stramowski as Piotr, and Sonia Mietielica as Klara.

The story unfolds just before Christmas. Ida loves baking and dreams of owning her own bakery. At the bank she meets Piotr, a director fascinated by her sense of humor and uncompromising nature. At the same time, Piotr meets his 10-year-old son Nikodem, whose existence he has only just learned of.

The child's arrival challenges Piotr, who is focused on his career, and his partner Klara. The couple needs help with household chores and posts an ad, which Ida answers. The film shows how, in this unusual situation, feelings come to the fore and love proves to be the greatest gift.
