“Mad Scissors” – or Who Did It

“Mad Scissors” is a comedy-mystery that was entered in the Guinness Book of Records in 1997 as the longest-running play continuously staged on American stages. It was written by Paul Portner and directed by Rafał Szumski.

The creators and performers always set the action in the present moment. This allows audiences to recognize the character of their own city, its institutions and well-known residents in the show. The audience helps shape the performance and assists the characters in solving the mystery. The investigation may unfold differently each evening, so the show is worth seeing more than once.
