“Songs of the Forest”

“Songs of the Forest” is a film directed by Vincent Munier, a French production from 2025. The director takes viewers deep into the Vosges forests.

It was there that Vincent Munier learned everything from his father Michel, a naturalist who spent his whole life waiting in the forest wilderness. Now it is time to pass this knowledge on to Simon, Vincent's son. The film brings together three perspectives and three generations united by a fascination with wildlife.

The film features:

• deer,
• rare birds,
• foxes,
• lynxes,
• and sometimes the flutter of wings of the legendary bird, the capercaillie.
