Stand-up and Sketches: “Parodia Ludzka”

“Parodia Ludzka” is an evening of stand-up and sketches performed by Marcin Chmiel and Amadeus Cichulski. Both are known from the show Masz Minutę, a joint podcast, and appearances in comedy programs on YouTube. Expect new stand-up material and new improv that will only be seen on this night, including for those who attended their mini-tour “Stand-up i skecze.” The duo describes itself as “Myślenice-Texas-chess-punk.”

The program includes:

• Marcin Chmiel: according to the promotion, “reportedly the best chess player among comedians,” occasionally a writer and a severe introvert, diplomatically called “an original.” His latest stand-up is about being a nerd and the struggles of being a chess player in high school in southern Poland. It is a story about passion, fighting the school bully, and hatred of checkers players.
• Amadeus Cichulski: born in Texas, raised in a village near Kraków, described as a neurotic, shy, and eccentric comic. His set covers childhood experiences and the Polish-American contrast.
• Improvised games: the last 20 minutes, based on audience suggestions. According to the organizers, they will never repeat.

Practical information: the show is intended for adults. Audio and video recording is prohibited, and disruptive guests may be asked to leave without a ticket refund. Tickets do not need to be printed; electronic tickets are accepted. The event may be recorded, and attending means consenting to the use of your image.
