Rutkowski also looks back on his childhood in communist-era Poland (PRL) and recalls the absurdities of those times. He reminisces about the phenomenon of the Fiat 126p, queues for mustard, meat ration coupons, and parties during martial law. He also tells the story of his first trip “to the West” and of flirting long-distance with his Swedish wife. He will reveal how he impressed a girl with aerobatic flying and how he used contraception in Belarus.
