Tango Passion - Viva Latino América by Candlelight

The concert “Tango Passion - Viva Latino América” is dedicated to tango. The music transports listeners to Buenos Aires: on stage, the sound of the bandoneon and violin combines with the movement of dancers. A professional dance couple will perform choreographies to some of the world's most famous tangos. The concert takes place by candlelight, in palace interiors and historic concert halls with excellent acoustics. The programme includes, among others, compositions by: - Astor Piazzolla, - Carlos Gardel, - other composers of this genre. The repertoire covers both classic tangos and contemporary interpretations with a jazzy and Latin flavour. The pieces are arranged for a chamber ensemble. Depending on the date, either a piano trio (piano, violin, cello) or a string quartet will perform. The organisers describe the concert as a story of love, longing and passion expressed through the rhythm of the tango.
