“THE BEST OF”

“THE BEST OF” is a concert by the Trio Mozdzer Danielsson Fresco. In Poland, the band has achieved a level of success that has until now mostly belonged to pop groups: it sells out concert halls, and its albums have topped sales charts. It does this while playing improvised music. The likely reasons are the melodiousness and noble sound of the music, as well as the virtuosity of all three musicians.

The lineup includes:

• Lars Danielsson - double bassist, one of Europe's finest jazz bassists. He is classically trained and highly experienced. He plays avant-garde jazz and so-called “middle-of-the-road jazz,” and his output also includes recordings of pop, ethnic, and classical music.
• Leszek Możdżer - Polish piano virtuoso who moves freely between different musical styles. His sensibility is very similar to Danielsson's.
• Zohar Fresco - a frame drum virtuoso widely known around the world, as well as a visionary and teacher with many students and imitators.

The trio's music blends several worlds: the noble sound of classical music, the melodic poetics of jazz, spacious arrangements, virtuosic displays, and intricate pulsations of Far Eastern percussion art.
