While celebrating their last night together, Jo and Raissa stumble upon a mysterious portal that transports them to the fantastical island of Nakali, full of magical and mythical creatures they once heard about in stories from their Filipino families.
Some of these creatures will become friends, others enemies. Jo and Raissa must face the most dangerous creature on the island.
When they discover that the memories of their entire friendship are the price of returning home, Jo and Raissa must race to find a way off the island before they forget each other forever.
