The Greatest World Hits of Waltz King Johann Strauss and More...

NEW YEAR'S GALA – Vienna Concert is the 2027 edition of a nationwide concert tour that Agencja Artystyczna MUZA has been organizing across Poland for years. The programme features hits by Johann Strauss, known as the Waltz King, as well as works from opera, operetta and musical. The tour journeys from Vienna and the world of operetta to Broadway musicals. More than 30 performers will take the stage: soloists, orchestra, ballet and a special guest. The Symphony Orchestra of the Tarnopol Philharmonic has been performing for over 20 years. It will be conducted by Maestro Mirosław Krill, conductor and arranger. The soloists are: - Ksenia Tomkiewicz (soprano) / Paula Maciołek (soprano) - Roksana Korban (soprano) / Justyna Gęsicka (mezzo-soprano) - Oskar Jasiński (tenor, host) - Dionizy Wincenty Płaczkowski (tenor) / Michał Janicki (baritone) / Jarosław Bielecki (tenor) The cast varies depending on the date. The soloists will sing solo parts as well as duets, trios, quartets and tutti. The concert will be hosted by tenor Oskar Jasiński, who will also perform solo pieces and duets. The star of the evening will be Artur Banaszkiewicz, a violin virtuoso, composer and arranger known for his own fantasies on popular pieces. The orchestra and soloists will be joined by ballet artists of the Tarnopol Philharmonic. The organizers want the gala to recall a traditional Vienna gala concert, with “rustling of sparkling gowns,” champagne being poured and the sound of clicking heels. It is a chance to start the year with a musical journey from Vienna to Broadway. Practical information: the concert lasts over two hours.
