“The Most Beautiful Pieces of the Carnival Spirit - Great Musical Party” is a live carnival music concert taking place on 27 January 2027 at 19:00 in the Concert Hall of Radio Wrocław. The programme takes you from the ballrooms of Vienna, through Broadway, to the streets of Rio de Janeiro.
Waltzes and polkas by Johann Strauss, czardas and operetta arias, and melodies from musicals will be performed. They will be complemented by Latin American rhythms, from Piazzolla's tango to Brazilian samba. The programme consists of four parts:
- Viennese Style: waltzes and polkas by Johann Strauss,
- Operetta Glamour: czardas and arias by Kálmán, Lehár and Moniuszko,
- Magic of Broadway: pieces from musicals, including West Side Story, Cabaret and The Phantom of the Opera,
- Hot Rhythms: samba, Brazilian medleys and tango by Astor Piazzolla.
The evening is an opportunity to share the experience of live music together.
