“The Secret of the Singing Birds”

“The Secret of the Singing Birds” is a film that will be screened on 26.11.2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Kinie Polkowice in Polkowice. Its heroine is 9-year-old Lucie, who goes on holiday to stay with her mother, an archaeologist leading excavations.

The story takes place in the French town of Bectoile. It is small and unassuming, but hides many secrets. Lucie's mother, Caroline, comes from this area. Together with her friend Pierrot, she looks into one of the town's secrets: an abandoned castle.

Meanwhile, Lucie tries to solve the mystery of her grandfather's disappearance. The question arises whether this story has anything to do with a famous fire from years ago and a mysterious healer who cures animals. To find out, the girl must:

• team up with a teenage neighbor,
• listen to the ever-present blue tits,
• dig through old newspaper archives.

According to the description, it will be a holiday Lucie remembers for the rest of her life.
