“The Time That Never Came” is a film starring Agata Kulesza as Sara and Dobromir Dymecki as Oskar. The screening takes place on 25 October 2026 at 5:30 PM in the Small Hall of Centrum Kultury MUZA in Lubin.
The story is set in a future where ageing has become the greatest taboo, and society has no place for old age, ugliness or authenticity. Sara and Oskar planned to grow old together. However, Oskar, like most people, underwent a revolutionary anti-ageing treatment that guarantees youth and a place in the new society. Sara refused and was sent to a closed isolation facility.
Years later, the two meet again when Sara attempts to escape. Their appearances differ, but they share unanswered questions they had long pushed to the background. The film asks whether love can survive time and irreversible decisions, and whether one can be free and live truly in a world that denies the right to pass away.
