A Neo-Gothic church building from the early 20th century on Reymonta Street in Wałbrzych, formerly the All Saints' Orthodox parish church.
On Władysława Reymonta Street in the Podgórze II (górne) district of Wałbrzych stands a Neo-Gothic church building erected at the beginning of the 20th century as a Protestant church. After the war it served as an Orthodox parish church dedicated to All Saints, belonging to the Wrocław deanery of the Wrocław-Szczecin diocese of the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church.
In 1994 the building was consumed by fire, after which it was renovated. A design was then produced by an architect from Białystok, Dr Jerzy Uścinowicz, which envisaged building an Orthodox church in the shape of a rotunda inside the church. This plan, however, was never carried out.
The building no longer belongs to the Polish Autocephalous Orthodox Church. Sources do not state who currently manages the building or whether it serves any sacred function, so it is worth checking this on site before a visit, for example by asking at nearby parishes.
