A peat bog reserve from 1994 within the Wierzbowa forest district, in the marshes of the Lower Silesian Forest, with a large number of protected plant species.
Borówki Bog Nature Reserve is a peat bog reserve created on 26 January 1994, located in the Wierzbowa forest district, in the marshes of the Lower Silesian Forest (Bory Dolnośląskie). The area is notable for a large number of protected plant species, making it a valuable botanical site.
The reserve covers a fragment of the extensive forest complex of the Lower Silesian Forest, where the peat bog occupies a depression in the Wierzbowa forest district. It was precisely the large number of protected plant species growing in this area that led to it being placed under protection in 1994.
