A branch of the Wrocław Municipal Public Library in the Karłowice-Różanka district, with a collection of 20,350 items, a children's corner and large-print and English/Ukrainian collections.
Branch No. 42 of the Wrocław Municipal Public Library operates at Serbska 5a Street in the Karłowice-Różanka district, in the Agora Culture Centre building. It is one of several dozen branches of the MBP network, with a collection of more than 20,000 items for all age groups.
There are 20,350 items available for loan, including traditional books and audiobooks. The library has a computer workstation with internet access and a terminal for browsing the catalogue independently. Readers have 50 seats at work tables at their disposal.
The branch has a dedicated area for the youngest visitors: a carpet, low tables and cushions for sitting on the floor. The children's collection also includes board games available to borrow or play on site.
The branch stands out for its "Large Print" collection, with enlarged text for the visually impaired, as well as titles in English and Ukrainian. This is a rarer choice among branches of the MBP network.
The library is accessible for wheelchair users. On site there are bicycle racks and a large car park, and a book drop-off box in front of the entrance for returns outside opening hours. Buses 129 and 142 and trams 14 and 16 serve the Serbska CK Agora stop, and buses K, 118, 119 and 319 serve the Łużycka stop.
