Branch No. 45 of the Municipal Public Library on Traugutt Street in Przedmieście Oławskie, focused on contemporary fiction, crime fiction and fantasy, with a renovated children's corner.
Branch No. 45 of the Wrocław Municipal Public Library operates on Generał Romuald Traugutt Street 82, in Przedmieście Oławskie, a few hundred metres from the Oder. It is a branch focused on fiction, with a strong emphasis on contemporary novels, crime fiction and fantasy, complemented by psychology guides, biographies and reportage.
Besides fiction for adults, the library has a renovated, cosy section for children and young people with window seating. It holds school reading list titles, board games and books in foreign languages. For the youngest readers there is a separate shelf of young adult literature.
The branch runs library lessons for nurseries and schools, arranged in advance with the branch's librarians. This is a permanent part of the educational offer, not a one-off event.
There are bicycle parking spaces by the entrance, and for people with disabilities the library offers home delivery of books. The branch can be reached by tram lines 4 and 16 (Plac Wróblewskiego stop) or 3 and 5 (Plac Zgody stop).
