A forested summit 734 metres above sea level on the Polish-Czech border in the Suche Mountains, between Raróg and Kopiniec.
Bukowa Góra lies on the Polish-Czech border, in the central part of the Suche Mountains, part of the Kamienne Mountains in the Central Sudetes. It rises to 734 metres above sea level, south of Głuszyca, between Raróg and Kopiniec.
The mountain is built of Permian extrusive rocks - melaphyres, that is trachybasalts. The whole hill is covered by spruce forest and spruce-beech lower montane forest.
The state border with the Czech Republic runs across the summit. The Czech, western part of the hill lies within the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area.
The green trail runs along the border, linking Tłumaczów with the Okraj Pass. On the Czech side runs the blue trail from Meziměstí to Broumov via Ruprechtický Špičák.
