A public library at plac Wolności 16 in Bystrzyca Kłodzka, operating since 1946 with a network of branches across the municipality.
The Bystrzyca Kłodzka Town and Municipality Public Library operates at plac Wolności 16 and has been the main centre of reading in the municipality since 1946.
The institution is not limited to its main premises - it runs a network of branches in the surrounding towns and villages, including Długopole-Zdrój, Gorzanów, Idzików, Międzygórze, Stara Łomnica, Stary Waliszów and Wilkanów. One of the former branches, on Osiedle Słoneczne, was closed in 2005.
The library is divided into four departments: a lending section, a reading room, a section for children and young people, and a regional collections department. The holdings include fiction, popular science, periodicals, dictionaries, encyclopaedias and albums, accessible through alphabetical and subject catalogues.
