A Neo-Gothic parish church from 1929 in Głuszyca, with a Baroque crucifix from the late 18th century.
Christ the King Church in Głuszyca is a Roman Catholic parish church belonging to the Głuszyca deanery of the Diocese of Świdnica, built in 1929.
The building freely draws on Neo-Gothic forms. The church has a porch and a sacristy, and a modest square-plan tower stands at the corner. The building was designed by Karl Fromm, an architect from Wałbrzych. The interior fittings include a Baroque crucifix from the late 18th century.
After the Second World War the church belonged to the parish in Głuszyca Górna. On 1 September 1968 an independent vicariate was established at the church, and on 11 April 1972 Archbishop Bolesław Kominek of Wrocław erected the parish of Christ the King here.
In 1968-1969 a new main altar and new electric lighting were installed in the church, a copper-sheet font was purchased and Stations of the Cross were erected. Chasubles, copes and monstrances were also funded at that time, and a large painting of Our Lady of Częstochowa, a painting of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and a side altar were placed inside.
