A public library in Bolesławiec with a digital catalogue, e-books and more than ten discussion clubs for different groups of readers.
The Cyprian Kamil Norwid Municipal Public Library in Bolesławiec, operating under the Centrum Wiedzy (Knowledge Centre) name, is located on ul. Bartosza Głowackiego 5. It serves as an all-purpose information centre, combining traditional book lending with access to digital collections and a wide range of meetings.
The library provides a catalogue of printed books through the Primo system and e-books through the Legimi platform, as well as free access to digital publications. This means readers can access the collections both on site and remotely.
The library runs more than ten discussion clubs aimed at different groups of readers, including a club for poetry lovers, a fantasy fans club, a club for male readers, as well as the Deaf Reader Club and the Vegefani Club. Author meetings and themed series, such as "French moods", are also organised.
Under the Centrum Wiedzy name, the library runs regular activities and educational workshops, including programmes for children and the "Book for a Senior" programme aimed at older readers. The library publishes an accessibility statement and is active on social media, where it shares information about current events.
The library is a few hundred metres from the Ceramics Museum in Bolesławiec, and the Bolesławiec Thermal Baths and the Orka Water Park are also within a few hundred metres, so a visit to the library can easily be combined with other spots in this part of town.
