A water intake in Kalinowice Górne at the edge of the Strzelin Hills, known for its gazebo from 1811 and a legend of a former monastery.
Źródło Cyryla (Cyril's Spring) is a water intake in Kalinowice Górne, at the south-western edge of the Strzelin Hills in the Sudetes.
In 1811 a forester named Roesner built a gazebo by the spring, which quickly became a popular destination for walks for the residents of nearby Ziębice. A hundred years later, in 1913, a restaurant was built here.
A local legend says that a monastery once stood on this spot, and the monks living there baptised the local population with water from the spring.
Źródło Cyryla is today promoted as a tourist attraction by the Strzelin Hills Society.
