A Baroque-Renaissance palace in Dalków from the 16th-20th centuries, private, being renovated after devastation under the state farm era, interiors accessible only with the owner.
Dalków Palace is a Baroque-Renaissance residence in the village of Dalków in Polkowice County, decaying for decades and now being gradually renovated by a private owner.
The palace was built for the von Glaubitz family in 1596. In 1742 the estate was acquired by the von Stosch family, during whose time the Baroque north wing was built. At the beginning of the 20th century, during the time of Richard von Hindersin, a cylindrical fountain was added in front of the palace.
After the Second World War the building was taken over by a State Agricultural Farm, which led to its devastation. The current private owner is carrying out gradual restoration work: the palace park has been restored, and a roof replacement is planned thanks to a grant from the Ministry of Culture.
The interior of the palace can only be seen in the presence of the owner, and many rooms are at risk of collapse. The palace park, however, is open to the public.
