A historic palace in Daszów, rebuilt in the 18th century and at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, today preserved as a ruin.
The Daszów Palace stands in the village of Daszów, in the Jemielno municipality, in Góra County. It is a former residence, today preserved as a ruin, entered in the register of heritage monuments.
The building originated as a manor house, built in 1547-1563. In 1729-1735 it was enlarged and rebuilt in the Baroque style, giving it a more grand character than the original Renaissance manor house had. A further phase of building work was recorded in 1898-1906, when the building underwent restoration.
The palace is listed in the register of heritage monuments under number A/3720/771, entered on 5 October 1960.
The building is today a ruin. The sources do not give information about the owner, plans for rebuilding, or whether the site is open to visitors, so it is worth checking this on site or at the Jemielno municipal office before visiting.
Within a few kilometres of Daszów are other historic residences of the region, including the palace in Górka Wąsoska, the manor house in Psary and the manor house in Chocieborowice.
