An abandoned, ruined evangelical church from 1880-1892 in Chełmsko Śląskie, built to a design by Karl Lüdecke.
The evangelical church in Chełmsko Śląskie stands on Kościelna B street, in Kamienna Góra County. It is an abandoned building: unfurnished, falling into ruin, and cannot be visited inside.
The foundation stone of the church was laid in 1880, and the whole building was completed in 1892. The design was prepared by Karl Lüdecke, and the building was erected in brick in the neo-Romanesque style.
The church stands on a rectangular plan, with entrances from the north-west and south-east. On the building's axis are a semicircular chancel and a tower.
After its religious function ended, the building served as a sports hall, and later as a factory warehouse. It now stands unused and stripped of its furnishings. The owner of the building is the municipality of Lubawka. A former cemetery survives next to the church.
