A forested hill 550 metres above sea level in the Rudawy Janowickie above Kowary, with remnants of a landscape park from the early 19th century.
Góra Parkowa is a hill 550 metres above sea level in the Rudawy Janowickie, in the Western Sudetes, right above Kowary in Lower Silesia.
The hill has a conical shape with steeply falling slopes. On the southern slope, below the summit, a landscape park was laid out in the past, created in the early 19th century in the spirit of Romanticism, in times connected with the summer residence of the Prussian king Frederick William III.
The entire summit and slopes are covered with deciduous forest with several tree species, including specimens recognised as natural monuments. Forest roads and walking paths run across the slopes.
No tourist trail leads directly to the summit, but two trails run at the foot of the hill: a red one, part of the Main Sudetes Trail, along the north-eastern foot, and a blue one, connecting Kowary with Karpniki, along the western foot.
