About Iwiny Palace

An 18th-century palace with a park complex in the village of Iwiny, today a residential building.

Iwiny Palace is an 18th-century residence in the village of Iwiny in Bolesławiec County, entered in the register of immovable heritage monuments of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It was built on the site of an older manor house, and in the second half of the 19th century it was extended for the Förster family.

Palace complex

The palace forms part of a palace complex, which also includes a park. The building has survived to this day, though according to the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality its current condition is not the best.

Who lives in the palace today

After the Second World War the building was adapted for residential purposes and has since been inhabited by a dozen or so families. The palace is therefore not a building open for visiting, but a private residential building.
