A classicist manor house with a manor farm and park in Janówek, listed in the municipal register of heritage sites and accessible only from the outside.
Janówek Manor stands in the village of Janówek, in the Jordanów Śląski municipality, in Wrocław County. It was built in the classicist style, though the exact date of construction is uncertain in the sources - one of them gives the year 1501, while the architecture itself and the history of the owners point rather to the early modern period.
The building has one upper storey, was erected on a rectangular plan and is covered by a hip roof with a kink. A two-storey projecting bay, three windows wide and topped with a triangular pediment, protrudes from the front - it is this feature that gives the facade its main accent.
A manor farm from the early 20th century has survived next to the manor house, along with a park laid out at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Within it also lies a devastated family cemetery of the former owners, dating from the second half of the 19th century.
The estate changed hands several times: in 1765 it belonged to the von Poser family, from 1785 to 1825 to the von Schikfus family, and from 1840 to 1870 to the Stephan family.
The manor house, together with the manor farm, is included in the municipal register of heritage sites and lies within a conservation protection zone. This is not, however, an entry in the heritage register, only a municipal record.
