A forested peak 792 m above sea level in the Izera Mountains, on the Kamienica Ridge, on the blue trail from Świeradów-Zdrój.
Jastrzębiec is a hill 792 metres above sea level in the Izera Mountains, in the Western Sudetes, in south-western Poland.
The peak lies in the eastern part of the Kamienica Ridge, east of the Izera Crossroads. It rises between Piaszczysta to the south-west and Gaik to the east, forming, together with Gaik and Kopanie, an extensive, elongated massif.
Jastrzębiec is built of metamorphic rocks, gneisses and granite gneisses, belonging to the Karkonosze-Izera block, more precisely to its north-western part, known as the Izera metamorphic complex. The whole massif is covered with forest, with no exposed summit areas.
A blue hiking trail runs across the summit, from Świeradów-Zdrój via Sępia Góra and the Izera Crossroads, on towards the Zimna Pass and Rybnica. In this part of the Izera Mountains it is also worth seeing neighbouring hills, for example Wysoki Kamień.
Zwalisko and the Izerskie Garby also lie nearby.
