A hill in the Owl Mountains (744 m above sea level) in the Włodarz Massif, with traces of a narrow-gauge railway from the construction of the Riese complex.
Jedlińska Kopa is a hill in the Owl Mountains, at an altitude of 744 m above sea level, lying south-east of Jedlina-Zdrój. It has a dome shape with a flat top and rather steep slopes, covered by lower montane spruce-beech forest.
The hill lies in the north-western part of the Owl Mountains, in the small Włodarz Massif, on the north-western side of the Marcowa Pass. The whole area lies within the Owl Mountains Landscape Park, the same park where the neighbouring peak of Włodarz lies.
On the slopes of the hill, remains of narrow-gauge railway tracks from the Second World War have survived, today converted into forest roads traversing the slopes. At the time, the Włodarz Massif was placed under special secrecy by the Third Reich in connection with the construction of an underground military complex codenamed "Riese" (Giant) - today part of these underground works can be visited as the Riese Włodarz underground complex. Water intakes on the slope of Jedlińska Kopa fed reinforced concrete tanks in Jugowice at the time, built for the needs of these works.
