A spa park in Lądek-Zdrój with a mineral spring, a natural therapy facility and an 18th-century larch avenue.
John Paul II Spa Park covers 1.2 hectares in the eastern part of Lądek-Zdrój. It is a classic spa park, with a mineral spring, natural therapy treatments and an avenue leading to the spa house.
The "Wojciech" natural therapy facility operates in the park. There is also a recreational pool, a spa chapel with a fountain, and the "Dąbrówka" mineral spring with a temperature of 19.7 degrees Celsius.
The park is planted mainly with deciduous trees: common beech, small-leaved lime and sycamore maple. Its standout feature is a larch avenue, laid out in 1782 on the initiative of Minister Hoym, a spa guest staying there at the time. The avenue of European larches connects the central part of the park with the spa house.
The park contains marble sculptures, created during a sculpture workshop in 1980. A blue tourist trail also runs through the area, connecting Bardo Śląskie with Śnieżnik.
Close to the park is the Arboretum in Lądek-Zdrój, and the town itself is described as Lądek-Zdrój. The Trojak mountain rises above the spa.
